The newest recording project from the Fryes is Tom's "Cause and Effect" project, featuring the Frye Family Band and many special guests, including Lynyrd Skynyrd's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Drummer Artimus Pyle and two members of his band.
Without the influence of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom would not be playing guitar. So, as a hat tip to the band, the Frye Family Band cover's one of their songs live, and included it on the new recording project.
Additionally, during its recording, the sessions were documented and turned into a music video, which has been released to the Frye Family Band's pages on all major streaming platforms ahead of the full album release, scheduled for October 10, 2026
